Earlier this year we had a preview of Nicole Richie’s Fall 2010 collection for Winter Kate; today, we have scored a further look at the line, which is set to debut around August. While Richie has remained true to her personal hippie-chic aesthetic, with plenty of breezy dresses and sheer peasant tops making their way into the line, the fall collection is decidedly darker, with a bounty of new influences.
For fall, Richie took inspiration from the Johnny Depp movie, From Hell. “It’s about the free masons and Jack The Ripper so it’s definitely about that time. We have capes and cigarette pants, vests, jackets and blazers. There are cleaner lines and it’s a lot more simple.” Fans can expect to see plenty of rock & roll-inspired elements as well; Richie also took inspiration from music icons like Stevie Nicks and Debbie Harry.
While you wait for fall to roll around, you can check out Winter Kate’s Spring 2010 collection at stores like Shopbop.com and Singer22.com.
