Runway Reports

Notable Quotes

Model Abbey Lee Kershaw, at the Chanel boutique opening, on her new white-blonde locks: “I did it like two days ago. It took seven hours and I didn’t speak for another four hours. I just made the decision that I needed a change. I’ve never dyed my hair before. Also, I think that with the cut that I’ve got, it was the time to go white.” [Modelinia]

Sea Of Shoes blogger Jane Aldridge, at the Chanel boutique opening, on the partying lifestyle: “Don’t you think it’s a little scary out there? It’s a little too crazy for me. I’m very insulated. Where I live, there’s nothing going on. I’m 30 miles outside of Dallas. I’m just a little country girl at heart.” [NY Mag]

Karl Lagerfeld, at the Chanel boutique opening, on where he’ll be for Fashion’s Night Out. “I will be in the Chanel shop and the Fendi shop — where shop-keepers belong!” [Stylelist]

Elle editor Robbie Myers, at the Elle Fashion Next show, on her hair: “Some might be too young to remember the Flintstones, but this is basically Pebbles’s hairstyle. I’ve considered putting a bone in it so everyone gets the reference. People mistake it for elegance, but really, it’s about getting out the door.” [NY Mag]
