Fashion News: Alexander Wang + More • Alexander Wang has won the coveted 2009 Swiss Textiles Award. The award is a prize of 100,000 euros, with 10,000 euros earmarked for the purchase of Swiss fabric and the remainder to go towards producing and marketing upcoming collections. Wang beat out five other finalists – Alexis Mabille, Erdem, Ohne Titel, Peter Pilotto and Thakoon – to take out the prize, which was won last year by LA-based designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte, the first women to ever take the top prize. • Lorenzo Martone is setting up a boutique PR agency for models with former Elite marketing director Ryan Brown. ARC NY’s goal is “to build equity around the girls’ personality,” they told Page Six. Clients so far include Lydia Hearst, Alessandra Ambrosio, Fernanda Motta, Julie Henderson, and Jessica White. Martone (who is engaged to designer Marc Jacobs) and Brown plan to help them branch out into other fields. [Page Six]

• Tara Subkoff, who was diagnosed with a non-cancerous tumor earlier this year, has apparently been left in the lurch by the New York Foundation for the Arts. In July, Subkoff’s friends and family hosted a fundraising drive to raise money for her surgery and rehabilitation, sponsored by the NYFA. Friends of the actress/designer now claim that the NYFA has reneged on the initial agreement. [NYP]

• According to Stephen Mormoris, the senior vice president of global marketing at Coty Beauty, Kate Moss might venture into cosmetics. Coty Inc., which currently holds Moss’ fragrance license, may be interested in Moss creating a special color cosmetics collection for its Rimmel brand, which she also fronts. [WWD]
