• Burberry has announced that they are looking to expand leather goods, children’s wear and sportswear. Christopher Bailey, who was elevated to the position of chief creative officer last week, said there was a solid demand for new types of Burberry goods such as belts and shoes. [Reuters]
• Michelle Trachtenberg has signed a deal with Coach. Under the agreement, Trachtenberg will collaborate with Coach’s Poppy line to design a collection of costume jewelry that will hit stores in the spring. [WWD]
• Zac Posen is launching a new, lower-priced line that will be sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue. The line, titled Z Spoke, will launch this spring and price points are between $78 and $675. Posen told WWD that Z Spoke is about a new identity and he thinks the collection will surprise people. [WWD]
