The best way to welcome the chilly fall weather we have been experiencing lately is to warm your bones with these images from Nicholas K’s Spring 2011 lookbook. For spring/summer, Nicholas K designer Nicholas Kunz fused an avant-garde military vibe with dusty, earthy tones to create a modern utilitarian-inspired collection. Key themes include draped silhouettes, strong layering pieces, fresh textures (such as sand-washed velour and puckered cotton voile,) and muted colors and prints (think striped checks and camouflage.) All in all, these pieces will have you yearning for spring before fall even arrives.
The Spring 2011 collection will be shown at New York Fashion Week in September in its own time slot (a first for the brand.)
