Earlier this year Nicole Richie announced that she would be adding a range of footwear to her hugely successful accessories line, House of Harlow 1960. Yesterday Marie Claire gave us our first sneak peek at the collection, which is set to launch in January.
The collection stays true to Nicole’s signature hippie-luxe aesthetic, with chunky platform heels and African-inspired ethnic detailing. The chic collection will include embroidered heels, cut-out booties, wedges, moccasins and sandals.
House of Harlow 1960 debuted in October 2008. Since then, Nicole has announced her plans for a ready-to-wear collection, set to debut in Spring 2010. The collection, Winter Kate, will consist of floaty maxi dresses, chiffon and lace jackets, tunic tops and more.

They’re a little bit too chunky and clunky for my taste. Though I’m digging the embellishments on the back of those three peep-toes on the right – reminds me a bit of Native American designs. Pretty! 🙂

I’ve had a look at these and am surprised to find I like them. Chunky heels are so comfortable to wear.
