Songstress and designer Gwen Stefani is known for not doing things by halves. Case in point: her Spring 2011 collection, which was overflowing with African-inspired prints of every persuasion. Happily, the deluge of colors, patterns and textures—from bright ikat to classic plaid to luxe tie-dye—didn’t take away from Noir Jewelry’s newest collection, which debuted alongside L.A.M.B. on yesterday’s catwalk. The statement-making collection was teeming with Navajo beaded bracelets, oversized metal bib necklaces, and Egyptian-style “bugle” necklaces, all in bright colors or luxe mixed metals. Naturally, for effect, the jewelry was piled high on the wrists, or layered piece by piece on the neck. As we said, nothing by halves!
