Nail polish might not be the first thing you think of when you bring Texas to mind, but for nail color brand OPI, the Lone Star State served as inspiration for its newest Spring 2011 nail color collection. The collection’s twelve shades include the following (above, from left to right, then below): San Tan-Tonio, a honey tan; Y’All come Back Ya Hear, a Texan tangerine; Guy Meets Gal-veston, a coral pink; Big Hair, Big Nails, a rosy blush; I Vant To Be A-Lone Star, a silver-blue; It’s Totally Fort Worth It, a lavender grey; Austin-Tatious Turquoise, a blue-green; Don’t Mess With OPI, a grassy green; Too Hot Pink To Hold ‘Em, a hot pink; Do You Think I’m Tex-y, a berry pink; Houston We Have A Purple, a violet; and, Suzi Loves Cowboys, a rich chocolate.

The OPI Texas Collection is due in stores in February, although official datesĀ are yet to be released.
