Cold winter days and extra-cold winter nights call for one thing: rugged outerwear. Happily, Levi’s has teamed up with Oregon-based Native American textile company Pendleton Woolen Mills on a two-piece women’s capsule collection that is just what the doctor ordered. Our favorite piece is an oversized wool cape embellished with a Native American-inspired geometric print that Pendleton created exclusively for the collaboration; the pattern, in shades of indigo, red, and gold, is meant to symbolize the colors found on a pair of Levi’s jeans. If the cape isn’t for you, don’t despair. You’ll also find a jean jacket with a removable printed vest. In addition, a limited number of special-edition blankets feature the exclusive print will be sold. The collection is available at Pendleton and Levi’s stores nationwide, as well as online at Levi.com and Pendleton-USA.com. Prices range from $118 to $238.
