On Sept. 15, Philip Lim’s first collection for Target will hit stores nationwide. Lim has created morning, noon, and night wardrobes for the over 100-piece collection. His aim was to create clothes for “everyday men and women” at Target’s price point. “This is really personal, because growing up, I was a Target customer,” Lim said. “My parents were always taking me to Target for back-to-school shopping, and I would find things, but they were not quite right. This was my chance to go back and relive this and do it right.” The pieces will range in price from $20 to $300, which includes leather jackets to vinyl handbags. Sticking to a neutral palette of grays, khaki, and solid colors, as well as graphic prints like camo, leopard and floral, Lim has added the right pops of color into timeless pieces. Stay tuned for more sneak peeks, and be sure to visit Target.com come Sept. 15 to view the full collection.
