A few years ago, stars like Kirsten Dunst and Rachel Bilson re-energized the world’s love of Ray-Ban Wayfarers when they sported bright red and green versions on the streets of Hollywood. This month, Ray-Ban is injecting the iconic Wayfarer silhouette with a new burst of color thanks to the brand’s Rare Prints series.
The collection features a variety of prints, patterns and a vivid palette, with images of spring florals, bold stripes and even the New York subway map all appearing on the colorful frames. A further two themes are inspired by trends in pop culture, cinema and advertising; the “Comics” line features bold black-and-white face sketches while the “Button Pins” line features a colorful pile of miniature buttons.
The entire Ray-Ban Fall 2010 collection will be available in Sunglass Hut stores and online at SunglassHut.com by the end of June.
