Revealed: Emmanuelle Alt's First Vogue Paris Cover, Featuring Gisele BündchenThe moment the fashion world has been waiting for has arrived: the April 2011 issue of French Vogue, the first issue under the leadership of newly-appointed editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt, has just been revealed.

As reported earlier this year, Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen appears on the cover. Gisele wears a summery white dress by Dolce & Gabbana, which is sheer enough to reveal her bra and panties. Gisele’s hair is loose and wavy, her makeup barely-there. Not a single accessory can be seen.

All in all, this cover leads us to believe that Alt’s direction for the magazine, which she has claimed will be “the same but different,” is decidedly softer. The cover was photographed in St. Barts by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matatin.
