Rita Ora to Front Yet Another Campaign




Fresh from the success of her recent collaborations with both Adidas Originals and Rimmel, Rita Ora has been nabbed once again, this time to front Donna Karan’s new DKNY fragrance My NY. The fragrance is inspired by the people of New York, and as the singer (although Kosova-born) splits her time between New York and London, she has been deemed as the perfect choice.

“If Rita can’t sell it, I don’t know who can. I think Rita’s a great representative of DKNY. She’s full of life, she’s about what everyone wants to feel – energy. And I find her ageless. She’s like this Energizer Bunny who can wear anything from track shoes to stilettos, DKNY to Donna Karan. I love the girl as a person too. She walks the talk.”

A great justification for her as choice of ambassador, as are previous successful DKNY ready to wear campaigns, and luckily it seems that Rita is just as excited about this collaboration.

“Donna’s a very powerful and confident woman. She comes across as very strong, and that’s what I love about her line. It’s a very confident, energetic line and it’s about women who speak their minds. The fragrance celebrates New York City, which is unlike anywhere else in the world. I love the idea of being a part of a campaign that captures the spirit of New York and the stories of women here, passionate about their dreams.”

An ode to the big city that we all know and love, captured in a cute heart-shaped bottle with a quirky skyline cap, this would be enough to sell this fabulous new scent alone, but with Rita at the forefront, it can only rocket.
