You can’t keep Rodarte down. Just days after the debut of their capsule collection for Target, Rodarte have released a new collection of tees and sweatshirts in collaboration with Opening Ceremony.
The Mulleavy sisters joined forces with two artists – photographer Autumn de Wilde (who has been documenting the sisters’ work since Rodarte’s early days) and David Benjamin Sherry – to create the collection, which brings a light, fun and distinctly Rodarte touch to everyday basics.
A tee featuring a black-and-white photograph by de Wilde is selling for $105, while a sweatshirt with a portrait by Sherry goes for $210.
The collection also includes a series of text-only tees and sweatshirts. Tees that feature the slogan “Radarte” are selling for $105. Sweatshirts that state “J’aime Rodarte” on the front and “Je déteste Rodarte” on the back are selling for $155 while the tee version goes for $115.
Limited quantities of the pieces are available at Opening Ceremony stores in New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo and you can view the collection online here.
So, what do you think of the new collection? Love it or hate it?
