Rodarte’s much-anticipated collaboration with Target launches next month and the December issue of Marie Claire has the inside scoop on a couple of items.
Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the sisters behind the brand, told Marie Claire that films like Bonnie and Clyde, Rosemary’s Baby and Harold and Maude were the inspiration behind several of the pieces.
The piece features four items: a skeleton-bone sequined dress, a faux lambskin vest, a striped top and a layered tulle skirt, all of which cost between $16.99 and $49.99.
Rodarte’s collaboration with Target is for their Go International brand. Each season is created by a different designer and is only available for 90s days from its release. Rodarte’s limited edition collection will launch at Target stores and on Target.com on December 20, 2009 and will be available through to February 6, 2009.
