Winter Shopping

I’ve been doing a little winter shopping in preparation for America. It’s a little depressing to do this, since I’ve just returned from a week at the beach, but I figured a little shopping never hurt anyone.

A week at the beach was good for the soul – I’m not at all tanned, but well-rested and relaxed. We soaked up a lot of salt water and sun and I plotted out my plans for the next year. Mostly these plans included a revamp of the wardrobe, including evening out my summer vs winter clothes.

My winter wardrobe is fairly obsolete. I sold a lot of my warm stuff when I moved back from London, so I’ve got a lot of great summer dresses but nothing for winter. I’ve got my eye on a new leather jacket, sweaters, grey jeans, a cropped black blazer and a circle knit scarf.

I had a quick flash of creative inspiration and put together this collage on Polyvore. I know the shorts aren’t for winter but I might pair them with black knit stockings and boots. Besides, I would give up all my winter shopping money if I could just get my hands on this Chanel bag.
