Steal Her Style

If you are anything like us here at Mama’s A Rolling Stone, you devour anything and everything fashion-related looking for fresh outfit ideas and new styling tips, which is exactly why our regular Steal Her Style story is so useful! Not only does it offer up a heavy dose of style inspiration, it does so with one thing in mind: finding you suitably stylish alternatives at prices that suit every budget! On that note, it’s time to sit back and get inspired by today’s Steal Her Style muses: Mary-Kate Olsen, Jessica Alba and Kate Moss! Read on!

Mary-Kate Olsen
Designer/entrepreneur Mary-Kate Olsen never settles on one style—she happily moves from a classic vibe to grunge or bohemian, or sometimes a mix of many. Late last month, she opted for a modern-boho vibe for a trip to the New Museum in New York City. We love the way she has piled on so many layers—not only is it perfect for these chilly winter days, it gives the entire outfit an easygoing feeling that works will with the bohemian vibe. So, how do we steal Mary-Kate’s chic style? First, layer Oasis’s Soft Stripe Faux Fur Coat ($152.41) or Tinley Road’s Faux Fur Jacket ($38.97) over Free People’s Windows On The World Top ($98) and black skinny jeans. Then, accessorize with Free People’s Flocked Print Scarf ($165) and ASOS’s Ark Leather Cross Strap Pull On Ankle Boots ($134.48).

Jessica Alba
Whether she’s attending a red-carpet event or doing a spot of shopping, one thing is certain: jet-setting actress Jessica Alba always looks stylish. We particularly love the ensemble Jessica put together for a visit to the Gucci boutique in Paris. Why, you ask? (a) Her floral skirt adds a feminine touch to an otherwise all-black outfit. (b) It is perfect for Paris, where black is the color du jour all year round. (c) A floral skirt is a great way to start transitioning into your spring wardrobe. So, how do we steal Jessica’s chic style? Try pairing ASOS’s Tailored Cropped Boyfriend Blazer ($89.65) with a simple black tee and Rag & Bone’s Solid Scarf ($175). Then, add Topshop’s Snow Floral Skirt ($65) and black tights. To finish, slide into a pair of Jeffrey Campbell’s Lita Shoes ($169.95).

Kate Moss
Leave it to Kate Moss to put together the perfect pre-spring outfit! Just last week, the supermodel showed off her style skills while out and about in Paris—she paired a chic cropped jacket with dressy shorts, added black tights and a slouchy gray tee, and then topped off her ensemble with a pair of black suede boots. The result? A look that stays true to Kate’s boho-meets-rocker vibe with, naturally, a touch of Parisian chic thrown in for good measure. On that note, let’s steal Kate’s headline-grabbing style! First, grab Plastic Island’s Black Magic Tweed Jacket ($85.97), or pick up Silence & Noise’s Raw-Edge Notched Blazer ($29.99), and layer it over a simple gray tee. Then, simply slip into Alice + Olivia’s Cady Cuff Shorts ($154), add black tights, and finish with Butter’s Damsel Boots ($308).
