Steal Her Style

We’ve picked three of our favorite muses—actress Sienna Miller, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and television presenter Alexa Chung—for our latest Steal Her Style story.

Steal Her Style

No matter what your plans are this holiday season—whether you’re traveling across the country, planning a major shopping expedition, or attending a hot holiday party or two—we’re sure you’ll need some fresh fashion inspiration to get you through. Happily, that is just what we have in store for you in today’s Steal Her Style story! We’ve picked three of our favorite muses—actress Sienna Miller, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and television presenter Alexa Chung—to guide you through the holiday season in style and offer up plenty of new ideas. On that note, we suggest you sit back and get inspired!

Sienna Miller
There is something to be said about a girl who looks effortlessly stylish after a long-haul flight. Case in point: jet-setting British actress Sienna Miller, who was recently spotted at Heathrow airport in London after a fleeting visit to Los Angeles. Her ensemble—a button-down shirt, a cozy-yet-chic cardigan, unfussy jeans, and ballet flats—is spot-on for flying thanks to its perfect mix of stylish and sensible. So, how do we steal Sienna’s smart style? We suggest layering Sienna’s exact cardigan—Express’s Shawl-Collar Sweater ($52.80)—over Equipment’s Signature Blouse ($178). Then, tie a pair of Siwy’s Hannah Skinny Jeans ($174) at the waist with Coach’s Cheetah Ponytail Scarf ($38). To finish, slip into a pair of J Crew’s Cece Leather Ballet Flats ($128).

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley instantly caught our eye with this ensemble—a Burberry trench coat, leather skinny pants, Isabel Marant boots—which she wore while out and about in New York City late last month. Why do we love it? It is simple and yet utterly stylish, cool without being complex—in other words, it is the perfect uniform for any off-duty model, especially one as gorgeous as Rosie! Now, how do we steal Rosie’s understated style? We recommend starting with a sophisticated trench coat—we like Burberry’s Short Double-Breasted Packaway Trench Coat ($595) or All Saints’s Sherlock Trench ($340)—which you can layer over Blank NYC’s Paneled Leather Pants ($138). For the finishing touch, grab a pair of Ash’s Iman Cuff Suede Booties ($175).

Alexa Chung
It’s no secret that Alexa Chung likes to put her own personal spin on every outfit, so were we surprised to see her do exactly that for last month’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in New York City? Not so much. We love the way she gave her classic button-down shirt and wool coat a youthful twist by adding dressy evening shorts and a pair of platform sandals—and we’re sure you do too! So, let’s steal Alexa’s playful style! First, tuck Joie’s Marru Top ($188) into a pair of Marc By Marc Jacobs’ Inez Jacquard Shorts ($238), then throw French Connection’s Double Breasted Kitty Wool Coat ($151.71) over your shoulders. A pair of Miu Miu’s Suede Knot Detail Platform Sandals ($428.40) finishes off the outfit.
