Street Chic

It’s a fact: once in a while, even the most die-hard fashion fans need some fresh outfit inspiration. Luckily, there are plenty of ways to find it—from people-watching over coffee at a café to browsing fashion and style blogs on the internet, which brings us to today’s story. For our latest Street Chic feature, we have rounded up three favorites of the fashion blogosphere who are bound to inspire you with their effortless ensembles. So, whether you’re revamping your closet for winter, or you just want to ponder some ideas for spring, we’re sure you’ll find plenty of inspiration in this month’s edition of Street Chic. Read on!

1. Our first Street Chic muse—Liz, from San Francisco—is a master at mixing new pieces with vintage. While her dress and sweater are by modern labels, her handbag and necklace are vintage. The lesson learned? Nothing accessorizes an outfit better than vintage! To compose a similarly chic ensemble, layer Sparkle & Fade’s Roll Cuff Boatneck Sweater ($48) over Pins & Needles’ Chiffon Cross-Back Dress ($29.99). Finish off your outfit with great accessories: ASOS’s Leather Croc Lock Across Body Bag ($68.96), Aldo’s Gron Wedges ($49.98) and Fred Flare’s Sri Lanka Fancy Elephant Necklace ($12). 2. This outfit from Trang, who lives in Pensacola, instantly caught our eye. Not only were we impressed with her color story—khaki green, rusty brown, and beige are the perfect colors for fall—but we also love her laidback-yet-luxe vibe. This outfit could easily transition from a shopping expedition to a dinner date with friends. To craft an equally chic ensemble, pair Madewell’s Caravan Pants ($29.99) with Matty M’s Silk Twist Detail Racerback Tank ($38.99) and Free People’s Linen Blend Boyfriend Blazer ($60.79). Finish your look with ASOS’s Hawaii Leather Wooden Platform Sandals ($68.96). To check out more of Trang’s personal style, head to Behind The Seams.

3. We love how Keiko Lynn, who resides in Brooklyn, has layered her pieces to create one super-chic ensemble—after all, layering is essential on chilly fall days. In particular, we like the way she has balanced the more feminine piece with a boyfriend blazer—the overall look is flirty and fun. To put together a similar ensemble, grab Keiko Lynn’s exact dress—ModCloth’s Autumn Ambiance Dress ($64.99)—and layer it under Topshop’s Double Vent Tweed Blazer ($250). Finish with Madewell’s Stetson Wool Fedora ($59.99), Jessica Simpson’s Dany Heels ($79.99) and Pieces’ Chunky Knitted Bobble Scarf ($36.20).
