Street Chic

We love our regular Street Chic story—not only does it showcase the style of some of our favorite fashion bloggers, but it always provides plenty of fresh outfit inspiration.

Street Chic

If there is one thing we truly love about fashion, it is its global reach. All across the world—from Milan to Melbourne, from Boston to Beijing—fashion fans are snapping street style pictures, holding runway shows, and creating collections, all in the name of fashion. It is for this very reason, also, that we love our regular Street Chic story—not only does it showcase the style of some of our favorite fashion bloggers, but it always provides plenty of fresh outfit inspiration. On that note, we’d like to present our latest Street Chic story—sit back and get inspired!

1. As you can see, Bonnie, who calls Dallas home, is an expert at mixing polished pieces, like her vintage Levi’s blouse, with contemporary pieces—skinny jeans, brogues and a slouchy satchel—to create a look that feels really young and fresh. The lesson? Don’t be afraid to mix and match pieces from different eras! On that note, you can compose an equally cute ensemble by layering Reiss’s Joanna Printed Blouse ($175) underneath Ami Dans La Rue’s V Neck Cardigan ($112.50). Finish off your outfit with your favorite pair of black skinnies, Topshop’s People Embossed Skinny Leather Belt ($38) and Aldo’s Kegerries Flat Brogues ($71.72). To check out more of Bonnie’s personal style, headed to Flashes Of Style.

2. We always love a look that incorporates vintage because it gives the ensemble a unique twist. Accordingly, we adore the way James, who lives in Houston, has mixed vintage and modern pieces to create a fashion-forward ensemble. Although her printed vintage dress—which is perfect for the coming spring/summer season—has a contemporary vibe, by adding these cute flats, James has made the outfit oh-so now. To put together a similarly stylish ensemble, grab TBA’s Organza Ballerina Print Dress ($268.95) or Milly’s Floral Print Halley Dress ($395). Then, simply add a pair of Ecote’s Woven T-Strap Skimmers ($38) and, in winter, black tights. To check out more of James’ personal style, head to Bleubird Vintage.

3. Unsurprisingly, this outfit from Sabrina, who lives in Amsterdam, instantly caught our eye. Not only do we adore the pop of tangerine—which is so perfect for spring—but we also love the versatility of this outfit. This ensemble could easily transition from a casual office setting to an after-work dinner date with friends to a fashion industry event. To craft an equally chic (yet playful) ensemble, pair Ralph Lauren’s Casual Pants ($154) with Theory’s Efina Cotton/Cashmere Sweater ($275). To finish, add Marc New York’s Gabby Wool Coat ($138.60) and then throw on a pair of Kate Spade’s Licorice Heels ($285). To check out more of Sabrina’s personal style, head to afterDRK.com.
