Summer Switch-Ups

Can’t get away? Using natural decor, accented bowls, and embroidered pillows can ultimately transform your home into the ideal summer getaway.

An indoor planter is the perfect piece to incorporate into any living space. It’s easy to tend to but still provides a nice botanical touch. Try: Urban Outfitters Hanging Egg Planter ($34). Mirrors enhance the space in your home, and a solstice frame is a great way to bring the summer indoors. Our pick: Z Gallerie Solstice Mirror ($399). Embroidered pillows can easily brighten up any living room. Choose a colorful print like this: Tierralatina Embroidered Sea Motif Pillow ($395). These bowls are luxurious as they are functional. Accents of gold add shimmer and freshen up the place. For an elegant yet modern twist try these: Aerin Geo Bowls ($550). A silicone placemat is a must have for the kitchen. It’s eco-friendly, easy to clean and comes in multiple colors: Modern Twist Floral Indigo Placemat ($18). Dive into the season with these beautiful photographs of St. Barths Island. This coffee table book is sure to add a seasonal touch: Pamela Fiori In the Spirit of St. Barths Book ($45). Swap out standard storage for items with bright colors. Try these: Jonathan Adler Orange Ice Box ($195). A colorful ottoman is a great item to incorporate into your home. Not only does it provide more sitting space but can also double as an artistic touch in your home. Missoni Home Mocaie Cylindrical Pouf Ottoman ($545). Switch out a standard frame to change up the mood, like this:  Anthropologie Neolithic Frame ($28). Accent with natural décor like this aquamarine coral to provide a pop of color: Z Gallerie Faux Coral Aquamarine ($29-59). A candle vase is a great item for entertaining. Our pick: DWR Candle Wax Vase ($350).
