Last night, a glamorous and excitable crowd of fashion industry insiders, rock stars, actors, sports stars, and more lined the front rows at the Lexington Armory in New York to watch the taping of the fashion show to end all fashion shows—the 2010 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Opening the show, Adriana Lima, who took a brief hiatus last year to give birth to baby Valentina, rides out on a twirling carousel. From there, you can imagine, it was all fun and games, complete with angels of all types: country girls, heavenly girls, wild girls, and more!

Highlights
On a catwalk covered in 100 pounds of glitter, no less, Izabel Goulart (who reportedly cried when she found out she was getting her wings this year) became tangled in a mess of ribbons, while Isabeli Fontana amused the crowd by lifting weights. Anja Rubik garnered a round of applause when she made a turn on the runway with wings covered in streamers. Adriana Lima wowed the crowd in the $2 million dollar fantasy bra, which is encrusted with Diamiani diamonds and sapphires, while being serenaded by Akon. A shower of balloons rained down on Maryna Linchuk and Jacquelyn Jablonski in the final segment, before Chanel Iman closed the show in bubble wings.

Music
Pop stars Katy Perry and Akon both took to the stage. Akon performed his song “Angel” while Katy—in a variety of her signature crazy outfits—got the audience dancing to “Firework,” followed later by a medley of songs that included “Teenage Dream” and “California Gurls.”

The Show In Numbers
Now, here’s the show in numbers: It takes 17 makeup artists, 19 hairdressers, 90 tubes of lip gloss, 30 bottles of skin lotion, 40 cans of hairspray, 50 stylists, 68 hair extensions, and 40 total hours of work by the styling team. Meanwhile, the girls wear 6″ heels, and 5-foot wings that weigh 20 pounds.
