With everything else going on this month—the holidays, party season, the seemingly endless slog that is buying gifts—it would hardly be surprising if you fell behind on the goings-on in the fashion world. Luckily, you don’t need to because our latest edition of The Hot List is a primer on six of the things you need to know this month—from what you should watch to what you should wear. Click through for the details!
Emma Cook for Topshop
British designer Emma Cook has released yet another collection with Topshop, this time for the holidays. The line will include quirky tree ornaments, on-trend animal-motif sweaters, home décor items, winter accessories, and more. The collection will arrive at Topshop.com on December 6.
When Shopbop alum Kate Ciepluch set out on her own, we could only hope she would stay in the fashion world. Not only did she stay, but she created Laveer, a line of luxe blazers for the “urban bohème.” The blazers are gorgeous, perfect for the woman-on-the-go, and available at Shopbop.com, naturally.
Alice + Olivia Evening
Now that party season officially here, we officially have a reason to wear Alice + Olivia’s new evening gowns. This sparkly silver dress is just one in the 20-piece evening collection—you will also find dresses featuring embellishments like leather, lace, glitter, and sequins. Check it out at Shopbop.com.
In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye is a must-watch HBO documentary airing on December 6. It follows past and current editors—including Grace Coddington, Tonne Goodman, Camilla Nickerson, and Polly Mellen—doing what they do best, which is creating amazing, life-changing editorials. Grab your popcorn, because you should not miss this!
At one point or another, you have probably lusted over or actually bought a Coach bag. There is just something about them, isn’t there? Well, Coach has now introduced the Coach Legacy collection and we are ooh-ing and aah-ing over these timeless designs. Our favorite is the democratic Coach Legacy Leather Universal Case ($58).
Kate Spade “Sprinkles”
What better way to kick off the party season than with a sparkly manicure? These polishes were created by Kate Spade in collaboration with lipstick queen Poppy King. The four-piece set features two solids and two glitters, all of which can be worn alone or together. Check them out at Nordstrom for $28.
