The Hot List: June 2010

Prova x Liberty Of London
Take a fresh approach to floral prints this fall with a limited-edition scarf for Liberty Of London by Prova designer Irini Arakas. To create the collection, Arakas mined the extensive Liberty Of London print archives and came up with a series of floral and ikat-printed scarves complete with her signature fringe trim. Yves Saint Laurent
This broad retrospective chronicles the life’s work of famed French couturier Yves Saint Laurent. TribaSpace
The TribaSpace International Fashion Calendar comes out of beta testing this month and is set to rock the fashion world. Opening the doors for young designers, buyers and media, the fashion calendar allows anyone to upload an event (for free) and communicate within the fashion industry; it’s a great way to find out about fashionable events in your area.

Prada Alphabet Tees
Prada has teamed up with M/M Paris on a set of tees that are perfect who those with a combined interest in fashion and typography. The five limited-edition Pradalphabet tees are packaged in an archive box and come with Miucca Prada’s coveted stamp of approval. Available now for approximately $215 at Prada stores.

The Like & Release Me
If you like The Like, you’ll especially like their second coming; the all-girl band has a new lineup, new look and a new album. The Like’s sophomore album, Release Me, hits stores on June 15 and has been described by some as a “candy-coated guilty pleasure.” Available now for pre-order at Amazon.com for $12.99.

Karen Elson & The Ghost Who Walks
British beauty Karen Elson released her first album – The Ghost Who Walks – late last month. Under the tutelage and production of her husband, Jack White, the multitalented model has laid down mournful, smoky-voiced tracks with a hint of Nashville, her adopted home. Coach Blogger Bags
Jumping on the fashion blogger bandwagon, Coach has teamed up with four favorites – Karla Deras of Karla’s Closet, Emily Schuman of Cupcakes & Cashmere, Krystal Simpson of What Is Reality Anyway, and Kelly Framel of The Glamourai – for a limited-edition handbag series designed by the girls themselves. H&M Fashion Against AIDs
The newly-launched H&M Fashion Against AIDs collection is taking the festival fashion world by storm; inspired by the “freedom of expression” and “shared experiences” that a festival creates, the collection is teeming with festival essentials such as gladiator sandals, ethnic dresses and denim hot pants. Shareen Vintage For Madewell
Known for its carefully curated pieces and budget-friendly prices, Shareen Vintage is expanding this month thanks to a partnership with Madewell.
