The Hot List

As we approach the end of the year, things begin to move at a faster pace thanks to party season, Thanksgiving, the holidays, and everything that falls in between. Luckily, we can bring you up to speed on everything you need to know with our latest edition of The Hot List. We have the book you need to read, the collections you need to investigate, and the beauty product you need to try—and it is all inside! Read on!

The Kate Moss Book
Kate Moss has been notoriously mysterious throughout her career, rarely giving an interview or speaking out. But things are changing. Kate: The Kate Moss Book is written by Kate Moss herself, in collaboration Fabien Baron, Jess Hallett, and Jefferson Hack, and it tells the story of Kate’s entire career. This is definitely one for the coffee table. Kate launches on November 6.

Valentino Rockstud
The Valentino Rockstud collection has been around for a while now, but we like it all the more this fall. Featuring neutral pieces with pops of color and edgy black pieces with black studs, this collection can give a hard twist to even the softest of women. We particularly like these pumps we found at Saks Fifth Avenue, but Valentino Rockstud can also be found at Nordstrom and Net-A-Porter.

Elin Kling for Marciano
Swedish blogger Elin Kling, now based in New York City, has brought her effortlessly cool vibe to the masses with a capsule collection for Marciano. The collection features pieces that have a part rocker-chic, part minimalist feel. These might not be the pieces you normally expect from Marciano, but they are exactly the type of pieces you can see Kling wearing and they are available now at Marciano.com.

Narciso Rodriguez for Kohl’s
Take the luxe designs of Narciso Rodriguez, mix them with the budget-friendly prices at Kohl’s, and what do you get? The best new designer collaboration on the block—inspired by Istanbul, to boot! Arriving early this month, the collection features two-tone sheath dresses perfect for the office, oversized coats ideal for a day of shopping, and printed dresses that will make your next vacation all the better.

Barneys + Disney
Barneys New York has teamed up with Disney for the “Electric Holiday” campaign. What does it involve? A ton of limited edition items like Mickey ears designed by Rag & Bone and L’Wren Scott, Vinylmation designed by Diane von Furstenberg, small gifts, candy, and children’s toys. Even better, Barneys plans to donate 25% of the proceeds to an as-yet-announced charity. The collection arrives on November 14 at Barneys.com.

Givenchy’s Liv’s Lips
Liv Tyler has been the face of Givenchy makeup for years, but now she is more than just a muse. Givenchy’s Nicolas Degennes has created lipstick, called Liv’s Lips, that reacts with the natural pH balance in your lips, creating a shade that is just right for you. There are five colors to choose from, including an edgy black, and they’ll be available at Sephora this month.
