For their Spring 2010 lookbook, Theory asked a slew of well-known fashion insiders to come together and create looks based on their own, personal tastes. What resulted was an eclectic mix of looks, proving that one piece really can be styled in a wealth of different ways.
Each fashion insider was asked to style a variety of looks. For the women’s lookbook, Theory scored the contributions of ladies like celebrity stylist Kate Young and Nylon’s style director Dani Stahl. Here are some of our favorite looks:
Left: Styled by Nylon’s style director, Dani Stahl. Dani incorporated her favorite print, plaid, into the looks because of its ability to move easily from day to night.
Right: Styled by celebrity stylist, Kate Young. Kate incorporated menswear must-haves like a boyfriend blazer for an androgynous mash-up.
Left: Styled by stylist and creative consultant, Susan Joy. Susan mixed timeless staples with on-trend pieces for a casual yet statement-making outfit.
Right: Styled by celebrity stylist Andrea Lieberman, who opted for a layered look that could be transformed from preppy to street with the removal of just one piece.
