Strange as it may seem, now that summer is here, the fashion world is looking forward to fall and the latest retailer to unveil its fall 2011 collection is Topshop. For fall, Topshop has created four mini collections: Glamrock, Thrift, Bavaria, and Psychobilly. The first, Glamrock, is inspired by the opulent fashion of the 1970s and accordingly you will find velvet dresses, glittery ankle boots, and rich jewel tones. Thrift is, naturally, inspired by thrift store culture, which means you will find vintage-inspired pieces like embroidered dresses and faux fur-trimmed coats. Bavaria has a gypsy vibe; printed coats, faux fur stoles, and velvet skirts. Lastly, Psychobilly, an androgynous collection filled with “teddyboy” details like houndstooth prints and little leather jackets. The fall 2011 collection will start to arrive in Topshop stores, as well as online at Topshop.com, in late July. In the meantime, click through to see more images.
