This summer TOPSHOP tears through the adidas Originals archives in an exclusive collaboration, bringing sport to fashion street style. Reimagining heritage classics for the concrete catwalk, a unique take on the SS14 trends promises pioneer an urban range that will cement icons while pushing the limits of city styling.
Classics are re-animated in bespoke prints and re-engineered by cutting edge designers to create the ultimate capsule collection. Iconic silhouettes have been taken right back to basics then cut up for a fresh take on urban favorites. Basic fits are slimmed down while attitude is ramped up.
An exclusive range of TOPSHOP prints are inspired by London landscapes as adidas Originals’ urban heritage comes out to play, preaching new rules and taking no prisoners. The iconic 3 stripes and trefoil shout out from graffiti graphics.
Fabrics scream ‘feel me’. Silky, ultra fine cupro and lightweight tricot add texture to hoodies and bold all in ones, while vests and tees marry printed mesh and color blocked cotton panels. Draped jersey throws the ball to super-soft French terry, updating classic basketball pieces with perfect teamwork. Sports details prevail, accentuating crafty cuts and promising function with your fashion – techno seaming and concealed pockets keep adidas Originals spirit soaring.
Three adidas Originals footwear favorites: the Superstar, the Tech Super and the Attitude, are recreated in luxury leathers, splashed in TOPSHOP’s dedicated London graphics and enhanced detailing in contrast threads.
Characterized by minimalistic styling and London infused motifs, the collaboration celebrates TOPSHOP’s love for London and adidas Originals’ reputation as the ultimate sports label in street culture.
