Under $100: Party Pieces

While party season is one of the most exciting times of year, it can also be one of the most costly—between buying a new party dress, picking up the bar tab, hailing a cab, and all the other expenses that pop up here and there. Happily, today’s Under $100 story is here to help! We have rounded up a slew of must-have party pieces—from pleated dresses to peep-toe heels, from sequined clutches to embellished shorts—and we are pleased to report that they are all priced under $100. Now that’s guilt-free shopping! On that note, click inside to see our favorite budget-friendly picks!

Here at Mama’s A Rolling Stone, we always start our party wardrobe off on the right foot by picking out a brand new party dress—or two! On that note, we’d like to direct your attention to Free People’s Lurex Starlight Party Dress ($98). This is not your average little black dress, dear readers. On the contrary, this dress features a pretty metallic floral overlay, which adds a glam yet girly twist. We are equally enamored with Mango’s Pleated Dress ($80). After all, the strapless pleated silhouette is oh-so sexy and the metallic gold hue is guaranteed to make you stand out from the crowd. Then again, if you like to mix things up when it comes to your personal style, you could always go against the grain and opt for a pair of embellished shorts. In fact, we have just the pair! We love the Fitzgerald Beaded Shorts ($58) from Nasty Gal. They have a 1930s flapper vibe, plus they can be dressed up or down, as you prefer. We would pair them with a cute blouse and then toughen them up with a cropped leather jacket, but the options are truly endless. Of course, now that winter is on the horizon, you will need something to cover up with when you are on the move. That said, we suggest you check out Glamorous’s Faux Fur Jacket ($69). Not only will it keep you cozy as you race from party to party, but its lilac-tinted hue will add an eye-catching element to any outfit.

Now, no party wardrobe would be complete without a selection of accessories! To start, a clutch is an absolute must. We are particularly smitten with French Connection’s Sequin Clutch ($98). Not only will it add a glam twist to even the most basic ensemble, but it is roomy enough to hold everything you need for a night on the town, but small enough to not be burdensome. A pair of killer heels is also a necessity when party season arrives. Luckily, we spotted this fab pair of Party Peep-Toe Heels ($90) by Zara, which we think are to die for! The black body lends these shoes a classic vibe, while the metallic gold toe and heel give these shoes a glitzy feel. Of course, the 4.5″ heel also packs a major punch—who doesn’t want legs that go on for days? Finally, if baubles are your poison, we have a couple of options. The Manhattan Ring ($78) by Kate Spade New York is oh-so chic. A cocktail ring is another must-have party item, but we are particularly smitten with the ruby-red stone—it is certain to catch the eye! We also like Topshop’s Multistone Bangle Pack ($90). These multicolored bangles are not for the faint of heart, but that is just what party season is about! The best part, of course, is that you can mix and match these bangles to match your outfit, or wear them all at once! Happy shopping!
