Urban Outfitters Fall 2010 Lookbook

Styled to look like a series of faded photographs, Urban Outfitters has taken a softly-lit journey into the New York City borough of Queens for its Fall 2010 lookbook.

Styled to look like a series of faded photographs, Urban Outfitters has taken a softly-lit journey into the New York City borough of Queens for its Fall 2010 lookbook. Set against a series of urban landscapes – weatherboard houses, paint-faded stoops, telegraph poles, children’s playgrounds and street corner stores – the lookbook illustrates a domestic landscape in the final, washed-out months of summer.

While the Queens backdrop steals focus from the clothes, you can expect plenty of UO’s signature streetwise styles. Cropped blazers and oversized grunge-inspired cardigans, pale denim, edgy boots, draped cape coats, chunky wedges and silky harem pants – all in all, we’re seeing a 1960s-inspired theme with a contemporary twist.
