V Magazine #64: The Art Of Being Kirsten Dunst

March 8, 2010

Kirsten Dunst has turned up in the #64 issue of V Magazine, looking decidedly “Old Hollywood.” Appearing on two separate covers and in an accompanying editorial, Kirsten was photographed by Mario Testino and wore labels like Givenchy, Burberry, Balenciaga and Rodarte.

The one-shouldered Rodarte dress is probably familiar to Kirsten. Over the last few years, Kirsten has formed a special, muse-worthy relationship with Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the sisters behind Rodarte. “She inspires us to be more creative,” Kate Mulleavy told V.

The colors in this editorial, the greens against the reds, are quite striking. What do you think of Kirsten Dunst channeling the Old Hollywood glamour?

Though, the photospeard appears very vibrant & elegant, for whatever reason (for me) Ms. Dunst always seems to BE majorly lacking something in her photos….just can’t put my finger on it.
