A Vampish Vibe For Spring 2014

dark make up

Possibly taking inspiration from Lorde, who is renowned for sporting dark make-up hues, it seems that many make-up brands are stepping over to the dark side for Spring 2014. A bit of a contrast to the pretty pastels, bold bright and warm bronzes that we expect to see in Spring, and while these tones are still very much on-trend and readily available, brands seem to have taken it upon themselves to incorporate darker more vampish shades such as cool purples, smokey grays, dusty greens and bold blacks.

Get in on this trend and add pops of these darker tones to your makeup collection now. Opt for dark lips and dark nails with a more neutral and pale base or choose dark eyes and team with nude lips. Be as extreme or subtle as you like. Just experiment and have fun!
