There is no denying that the goings-on at Vogue make for interesting viewing—The September Issue was one of those documentaries we just could not turn away from. Now, two new works—a book and a documentary, both called Vogue: The Editor’s Eye—have been born and both let us get inside the mind of a Vogue editor. The book focuses on the work of eight of the magazine’s legendary editors, including the beloved Grace Coddington. It covers their work and everything that goes on behind the scenes to create their work—from working with photographers to models and muses. Obviously, this is compelling stuff and the documentary will be out early next month. In the meantime, we suggest you pick up this must-read book and get a jumpstart on the insights before you turn your television on. Vogue: The Editor’s Eye ($75) is available now at Amazon.com.
