The annual Met Costume Institute Gala is just days away—it takes place on May 2—and the excitement is brewing. Vogue, for example, is celebrating by launching a brand new Met Gala iPad app, which features five years of behind-the-scenes footage as well as an insider’s guide to the work that goes into preparing for the biggest party in the world of fashion.
To be more specific, you’ll find over 100 photos spanning the last five years. You’ll find eight exclusive videos, including Anna Wintour’s personal tribute to late designer Alexander McQueen, who is this year’s gala honoree. In addition, the app includes interviews with event designer Raul Avila, who discusses how each exhibit comes together and the details of this year’s gala.
It is not all about the past, however. In the days following this year’s event, the app will be updated with photographs and behind-the-scenes action from the gala.
To download the Met Gala iPad app, head to iTunes, where you can buy it for just $0.99.
