YSL Beauté Spring 2010 Nail Colors

Summer always brings with it a slew of must-have nail colors and 2010 is no exception; while fall/winter was overflowing with taupe tints and shadowy grey hues, summer is all about bright colors and striking neutrals. This year, iconic fashion label Yves Saint Laurent is setting the pace with the release of two new limited-edition shades as part of its Beauté offshoot: Ultra Violet and Ultra Orange.

The collection was inspired by the passionate Yves Saint Lauren woman, a woman who is “born of the elements” and whose “essential and solar beauty is a force of nature.” As the name suggests, Ultra Violet is a spot-on shade of intense fuchsia while Ultra Orange is a vivid tangerine. Both choices will give you an instant lift and are as strong as they are fun. The best part? YSL touts their nail lacquers as elegant and practical and guarantee reinforced hold, wonderful shine, fast drying colors and protected nails.

YSL’s Ultra Violet and Ultra Orange are available now in Yves Saint Laurent stores and online at YSL.com. Both are priced at $20 each; not bad for a designer nail color you won’t be able to get enough of.
