Despite spring/summer collections popping up every day, the weather outside is still gloomy at times, making it hard to imagine slipping into a swimsuit. Nevertheless, when we spotted the new swimwear collection from Maria Cornejo’s Zero label on Style.com, we felt a little glimmer of hope. Inspired by her love of the water, Cornejo set out to create a collection that was as practical as it was flattering. The result? A line of subtly-sexy swimsuits that will surely compliment every shape.
The full collection is set to launch in stores on Friday. While loyal Zero fans got a taste of the collection at the Spring 2010 show, where bikini tops were worn with leather pencil skirts or layered under draped blazers, the latest preview is more conducive to planning your summer wardrobe. We love the bold slashes, color-blocking and cut-outs.
