Beauty Bulletin: Infiniti Pro by Conair

Check out our review of Conair’s newest product, the Infiniti Pro 1875-Watt Salon Performance AC Motor Styling Tool. We’ve got all the details!

Beauty Bulletin: Infiniti Pro by ConairRecently, Mama’s A Rolling Stone was offered the chance to test drive personal care brand Conair’s newest product, the Infiniti Pro 1875-Watt Salon Performance AC Motor Styling Tool. While the name might be a bit hard to handle, the Infiniti Pro is anything but. In fact, we were pleasantly surprised by its unfussiness.

Let’s start with the details. The Infiniti Pro utilizes an AC (alternating current) motor, a high-performance motor typically found in salons. Happily, Conair has found a way to reduce the weight of the AC motor. As a result, the Infiniti Pro has all the power of a salon hairdryer, but is 15 percent lighter. Need more perks? The AC motor employs quiet-but-powerful air velocity which dries hair faster and lessens damage by heat exposure. Plus, you can get a true blast of cold air when you utilize the “Cold Shot” button. This helps to set your style or provide lift at the roots.

Of course, these facts mean nothing if the tool itself isn’t up to scratch. Luckily, it is. Here’s what we noticed when we tried the Infiniti Pro:

  1. Our drying time was drastically reduced. We tried the Infiniti Pro for the first time while preparing for a summer wedding. Instead of a half-hour, our drying time was reduced to around 15 minutes. Moreover, every last strand was completely dry.
  2. Frizz also decreased! Hair was noticeably less frizzy, which made it easier to manage overall, as well as better to look at.
  3. Temperature is easily managed. Thanks to three heat rocker switches and two speed rocker switches, heat and airflow is really easy to control.

There isn’t much more to say, other than we’ll be keeping the Conair Infiniti Pro around for a long time! If you’re interested in trying it out for yourself, the Infiniti Pro is available at most mass market and drug store retailers, including Ulta, Kohl’s and Folica, for around $38.99.
