Earlier today, H&M announced the launch of the Conscious Collection, a sustainable collection made from environmentally-adapted materials such as organic cotton, Tencel and recycled polyester. While the collection sticks to an all-white color palette, there is plenty of texture to be found in the fabrics—several pieces feature romantic lace, Broderie Anglaise, frills and ruffles. “Shades of white are the season’s biggest fashion trend and it feels right for this collection,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s head of design. Key pieces include a long Grecian gown, a scalloped mini dress, dressy shorts, a cropped tee, and a Broderie Anglaise-embellished skirt, but you’ll also find a white blazer, pleated trousers, and lace lingerie. The H&M Conscious Collection will be available at all H&M stores on April 14. Prices start at $9.95.
